- Am trying to find family of George Washington Moore who was born in 1825-26 supposedly in Rutherford, NC area. He is rumored to have migrated to SC with brothers who split up with some going to FL and some West. He enlisted in the Mexican-American War in 1846 at the age of 20 in Lancaster, SC. He also faught in the Civil War. His widow and descendents are buried in Florence County,SC in Tabernacle Church Cemetery. He supposedly is buried in Little Rock, SC and was murdered while on leave from the war in 1865. I am his gggrandson.

- Louisa Arena Crossland was born March 4, 1829. She died in
Warren County, Tennessee in 1864 and is buried in an un
-marked grave in Beersheba Springs Cemetery, Beersheba
Springs, Tennessee. She married Ledden Brown. Her father
was John Jefferson Crossland who was born in the Northern
part of Middle Tennessee August 22, 1805 and died near
Tribune, Missouri on June 20, 1896-aged 90 years. Louisa
Arena Crossland's mother was Elizabeth S. Adams who was born
in Tennessee July 8, 1810. She died in Smith Valley near
Tribune, Missouri on November 23, 1893 aged 83 years. She
is buried in the Friendship Cemetery of Pulaski County,
Missouri.
